Our Opportunities
The MBYRA’s annual trip to Toowoomba took place this September, where our My Pool Certificate U10 and MPAC Property Group U12 Girls faced DDGRH — a yearly gathering of two strong rugby communities. Our next instalment of this growing tradition returns in 2027.
Our U16 and U18 Girls are gearing up for the Global Youth Sevens — the premier youth 7s tournament in the world. Proud to showcase Moreton Bay talent on the Sunshine Coast as we take on the best teams from across Australia and overseas. Big things ahead for our girls.
The MBYRA is excited to share that we are planning to send an U11 Girls team to the 2027 NZ Girls Junior Rugby Festival in Taupō. This would be a fantastic opportunity for our young athletes to develop their skills, experience rugby in a new environment, and proudly represent the Moreton Bay region. While details are still being worked through, we’re committed to creating meaningful pathways for female participation and giving our players access to unforgettable experiences.
